Edificio Hojarasca: WOW—JUST WOW: A Warning for Tourists
Edificio Hojarasca
Edificio Hojarasca: Noise, Construction, and Chaos
Recent stay, and the construction noise at the property (Edificio Hojarasca) was over the top. It’s as if the building was under construction / being rebuilt. How could code or even permitting allow this in an occupied property?!
Every day for the 2+ weeks I was there—literal earth shattering, hammering, and pounding as if an entire floor of concrete was being removed. I used worse noise-canceling headphones and still left traumatized. Actually it was in a sort of stereo, as this was emanating from two parts of the building.
Laughably, there was not a word about why this was happening nor any apology. Sucked, of course, as the tourist. My advice is to stay away from the Edificio Hojarasca. There were other weird things going on as well, especially with the number of prostitutes and black dudes with no shirts on. Huh?
Literally, run like hell; do not even think about it. I had my entire vacation destroyed by whatever was going on at the Edificio Hojarsca building.
