The lax front door security in the Edificio Hojarasca Airbnb in Laureles made me feel incredibly unsafe. People entered without keycards as people held the hoor open for them. One lazy American tourist was buzzing in delivery people instead of meeting them at the entry. The overall lack of security control and accountability raised serious questions for me and my traveling companion. I reported this to Airbnb in the US and nothing happened. Colombia and Medellin isn’t a place to take risks like this as literally local criminals watch for this kind of lax security in rental buildings without security guards as this building has no security guard. Someone is going to get seriously injured or robbed if it hasn’t already happened.
Good luck! John, NYC
